Kingston Turf Farms offers a FREE consultation service to all of our customers, new and old, this avoids any confusion when trying to describe exactly what you are trying to achieve over the phone. We offer a complete On-Site Delivery Service.

Our On-Site Delivery Service consists of a fleet of trucks with trailer mounted forklifts that can deliver sod promptly to any location in the greater New England area, New York, New Jersey and surrounding areas. We schedule our deliveries for early to late morning to allow customers to install throughout the day and keep the sod cool during warmer weather. We deliver Monday through Saturday to accommodate most everyone’s schedule. Our drivers can place your sod order as close to the areas needed, with little to no disturbance to the prepped areas. We have a minimum delivery amount of 1200 square feet to all locations, Amounts less than 1200 sq. ft. will be assessed an additional drop charge. We offer a Farm Pickup option for our customers.

Our Farm Pickup option allows any customer to pick up their desired amount of sod at our farm located in West Kingston, RI. Whether it’s one piece or as many pieces as you’d like, you can pick it up at the farm with just a day’s notice. Keep in mind, larger amounts of sod require multiple trips back and forth to the farm and also will require lots of labor to remove the sod from your vehicle, then handle it again once it’s on the ground.

We do not recommend that our residential customers pick up large amounts of sod (1,000 sq. ft. or more), the money you’ll save picking up your sod will be used up on time, labor and fuel cost, we can deliver the sod by truck and place the pallets close to your work area with our forklifts, saving you time, your back and the amount of labor you have to incur. Please call a day in advance for a Farm Pickup order, same day orders can be done but pickup times will be later in the day.

Driver Roll-Out Service

We offer a Driver Roll-Out Service for the installation of Big Rolls on appropriate sites. We use laying devices on our forklifts to roll out the sod on a customer’s prepared site. With the help of a few friends and some of our pulling rakes, we can have your sod put down rather quickly.

Complete Residential Installation Service

We offer a Complete Installation Service for the customers who do not have the resources to install their sod. We have two experienced installation crews that are supplied with all the necessary equipment to remove existing grass, prepare the soil, and install any sod amount needed. Complicated and/or difficult areas are not a problem, we have skilled installers that can complete the job with ease. We have trucks to remove the scrap materials and dispose of it, when we leave the jobsite it will be clean and neat, with nothing left for the customer to do but sit back and enjoy their new grass. Complete Sports Field and Stadium Installation Service.

We offer a Complete Sports Field and Stadium Installation Service that utilizes the latest state of the art equipment to install large amounts of sod on a sports field or sports stadium playing surface. We utilize our two installation crews and all of our trucks to get the sod to the field quickly and get it rolled out without worry of the sod heating in warm weather. Our two Big Roll installation machines make quick work of the thick-cut rolls that some fields require, they are not the track type machines that disturb the prepped areas, our machines rear-steer saving the time raking out wheel ruts and track marks from skid steers and other laying machines. We have installed grass on many sports stadiums such as Fenway Park in Boston, Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, RI, Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, Yankee Stadium and many more.

Golf Course Installation and Removal

Kingston Turf Farms specializes in golf course turf repairs and replacement on all golf course playing surfaces and problem areas. We can install and or remove complete fairways, tees and greens or any other areas needed, we use flotation tires on all of our equipment to keep ground disturbance to a minimum. We can provide the necessary grass for all of these surfaces, mowed to specific heights for golfing conditions. We have installed sod on some the most prestigious golf courses in, such as Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, RI.
