Optimum for full sun areas, also works well in lightly shaded areas. Kentucky Bluegrass is the top choice for athletic fields, it recovers well due to its density and durability. Our bluegrass blends are deep, dark green to bluish green color.
Turf Type Tall Fescue
Tall fescue has a greater heat/drought tolerance, requires less water and works best in shady areas. Tall fescue varieties require less fertilizer when properly maintained.
Bluegrass/Fine Fescue Blend
Best of both worlds, sun and shade tolerance. Fine fescue is a very narrow bladed grass, but when mixed with bluegrass it creates a very nice, blended grass.
Fine Fescue
Shade tolerant, drought tolerant, fine bladed grass. Works great alone or when blended with kentucky bluegrass.
